Finance Architect – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Establish finance architecture that aligns with accounting, controls, reporting, and target-platform specifications.

• Convert finance and regulatory requirements into comprehensive solution designs.

• Ensure data flows, controls, and integration with the broader architectural framework.

• Partner with business subject matter experts, security, data, engineering, and operations teams to assess options and document decisions.

• Evaluate and validate detailed designs for scalability, supportability, compliance, and alignment with target architecture.

• Assist in governance and design assurance efforts throughout finance transformation projects.

• Influence finance architecture within a prominent long-term savings, retirement, and protection-products organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust experience in finance architecture within the financial services sector or a highly regulated setting.

• Profound knowledge of accounting, controls, and reporting standards.

• Proven track record of translating business and regulatory requirements into solution architecture and detailed design.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams that include business, technology, security, data, and operations.

• Experience ensuring end-to-end solutions for scalability, compliance, and operational supportability.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Capability to balance business needs, regulatory demands, and technical limitations.

• Comfortable working in complex, enterprise-scale environments.

• Availability through January 2027.
