This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete recruiting process for both technical and non-technical positions, starting from role definition to the acceptance of offers.
• Actively seek out and engage outstanding candidates.
• Conduct recruitment across various sectors including engineering, product, revenue, customer/farm success, lab/scientific, and operations.
• Facilitate searches for roles ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with founders and hiring managers to clarify role scope, level, requirements, and success profiles.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract hard-to-find and specialized talent.
• Identify candidates from related industries whose skills can address Feanix's challenges.
• Convert complex role descriptions into engaging narratives for candidates.
• Establish and maintain talent pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs.
• Manage candidate engagement and experience throughout the offer and closing stages.
• Provide leadership with insights on talent markets, compensation, candidate availability, and hiring strategies.
• Design structured interview processes, scorecards, and evaluation criteria.
• Oversee recruiting operations to ensure searches progress efficiently.
• Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, sourcing effectiveness, time-to-hire, and other relevant recruiting metrics.
• Enhance recruiting systems and processes as the organization scales.
• Contribute to building Feanix's employer brand and convey its story to potential candidates.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to shape organizational structure and develop a scalable recruiting function.
• Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Significant in-house recruiting experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in recruiting within an early-stage startup setting, ideally from Seed to Series A.
• Ability to recruit across various functions.
• Strong background in recruiting software engineers and other highly technical talent.
• Demonstrated success in proactively sourcing and engaging high-quality passive candidates.
• Experience in recruiting senior individual contributors, managers, and functional leaders.
• Capacity to swiftly comprehend unfamiliar, complex, or highly specialized roles.
• Strong judgment regarding candidate quality and the ability to identify genuine fit.
• Capability to translate ambiguous hiring needs into clear candidate profiles and actionable searches.
• Comfortable challenging assumptions and advising hiring managers on requirements, compensation, and search strategy.
• Exceptional communication skills for candidate relations, relationship building, and closing.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and ability to follow through.
• Proficient in managing multiple searches with varying candidate profiles and priorities.
• Effective in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
