Founding Full Stack Engineer – Applied AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain backend services and APIs utilizing Python and FastAPI.

• Create frontend experiences using React throughout the entire stack.

• Engage directly with enterprise clients to comprehend their use cases.

• Collaborate on the development of custom AI agents and workflows.

• Oversee product and infrastructure domains comprehensively, from problem identification to deployment.

• Make key architectural decisions.

• Work closely with co-founders.

• Shape the product roadmap and influence the company's strategic direction.

• Navigate a fast-paced and uncertain environment.

• Assume responsibility for outcomes from problem identification to feature deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in full-stack software development.

• Background in an early-stage, VC-backed startup (Seed to Series B).

• Expertise in Python and backend development with FastAPI.

• Familiarity with React or a similar modern frontend framework.

• Proven track record of promotion in at least one previous position.

• Excellent communication skills for direct interaction with enterprise clients and translating their requirements into features.

• Preference for candidates based in California; ideal candidates are from the SF Bay Area.
