Forward Deployed Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with HQ, regional, and division teams to conduct discovery, identify plan assets, establish a reliable source of truth, and document plan representation and variations.

• Take ownership of product definition for the searchable plan library, analytics dashboard, and agent-enabled search functionalities.

• Optimize Higharc's Autotranslate AI to identify, categorize, and convert floorplans into data.

• Directly query the structured plan library, develop against internal APIs, and deliver operational capabilities to users.

• Establish acceptance criteria for delivery milestones, encompassing coverage targets, data-field completeness, and quality assurance error thresholds.

• Articulate and defend measurable ROI for catalog redundancy, dimensional variation, consolidation candidates, and purchasing leverage.

• Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineering, the Technical Lead, QA, Intake Specialists, and Client Strategy teams.

• Communicate progress and trade-offs to executive stakeholders effectively.

• Document playbooks, artifacts, and data patterns for future projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience, including substantial customer-facing or deployed experience in enterprise implementations, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or professional services.

• Proficient technical knowledge with SQL, notebooks, APIs, and direct data interrogation.

• Experience in prototyping using tools such as Cursor, Replit, or V0.dev.

• Proven track record in defining structured data models, taxonomies, or classification schemes and promoting business adoption.

• Strong judgment regarding data quality and accuracy appropriate for decision-making.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly with executive stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel to client locations and company events up to 30% of the time.

• Preferred: background in residential construction, homebuilding, architecture, or AEC technology.

• Preferred: experience with agent-based or natural-language search, RAG systems, or LLM-powered analytics.

• Preferred: familiarity with geometric or spatial data, CAD/BIM, computer vision on drawings, similarity, or clustering methods.

• Preferred: experience with large-scale, complex data migrations or ingestion programs.

• Preferred: experience in building a function from the ground up.
