Forward Deployed Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete deployment of North within private cloud and on-premises settings, encompassing planning, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate with enterprise IT teams to evaluate infrastructure, security needs, and data management practices.

• Engage in rapid experimentation with a focus on quality to captivate customers and provide solutions that surpass expectations.

• Develop and execute deployment strategies customized to client requirements, ensuring adherence to data privacy and security regulations.

• Diagnose and address deployment-related technical challenges, delivering prompt solutions to reduce downtime.

• Partner directly with customers to connect Cohere’s North product with clients’ engineering teams.

• Willingness to travel 20–40% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience engaging directly with customers.

• Experience in deploying enterprise software within private or hybrid cloud environments.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing production Kubernetes clusters.

• Proficient with Helm.

• Understanding of DevOps methodologies.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Git for version control.

• Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.

• Comprehensive knowledge of networking and virtualization.

• Capacity to perform effectively in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and goals.

• Fluent in Korean.

• Proficient in business-level English.
