This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Engage in customer sales meetings to articulate Runpod technologies, offer architectural guidance, and develop proof-of-concept solutions to onboard potential high-spending clients.
• Diagnose and address critical or intricate customer technical challenges related to configuration, performance, functionality, compatibility, or code issues.
• Employ code analysis, testing scripts, log examination, and remote access to pinpoint root causes and deliver solutions or alternatives.
• Interact with customers and collaborate with engineering, sales, supply, and product management teams to ensure customer satisfaction and incorporate their feedback.
• Support the team with escalated technical tickets and work alongside engineering on workarounds or bug resolutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to resolve GPU server-related problems.
• Communicate customer and support insights to engineering to influence product enhancements.
• Develop and sustain knowledge base articles, FAQs, guides, and manuals.
• Design and present training sessions, webinars, and demos for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline) or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with applied AI use cases such as inference, fine-tuning, LLM-based applications, or agentic systems.
• Exceptional communication abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Residing in the US within the PST time zone.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Preferred: proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, PyTorch), JavaScript (React, Node.js), and Go, with practical full-stack development experience.
• Preferred: understanding of Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), MongoDB, data center components, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, and DNS.
• Preferred: experience in deploying and managing AI/ML models as services or APIs, along with knowledge of model training, inference, and deployment on Runpod platforms.
• Preferred: capability to write and execute scripts, queries, or commands, and to read and comprehend code, logs, errors, or traces.
• Must be eligible to work without the need for employment visa sponsorship; Runpod is currently unable to sponsor employment visas.
