Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with client teams to observe their workflows, identify bottlenecks, and uncover opportunities for tailored software solutions.

• Quickly prototype and implement internal tools, integrations, automations, and data pipelines within client environments.

• Convert real-world requirements into functional code.

• Develop, deploy, collect user feedback, and rapidly iterate on solutions.

• Employ agentic engineering methodologies to craft workflows, automations, and integrations.

• Work alongside UX, consulting, and cloud-native engineering teams to evolve prototypes into scalable production systems.

• Navigate client infrastructure, security limitations, cloud platforms, APIs, and legacy systems.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor in client discussions and advocate for architectural choices.

• Travel to client locations as necessary, based on project requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in full-stack or cloud-native engineering with a history of delivering real software solutions.

• Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders and effectively translate challenges into technical solutions.

• Strong foundation in at least one modern backend and one frontend technology stack.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with APIs, data integration, and automation processes.

• Comprehensive understanding of agentic engineering, including agent planning, tool utilization, context management, orchestration, and evaluation.

• Application of agentic engineering principles in practical scenarios, beyond just personal projects.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical trade-offs in a clear manner.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

• Openness to travel to client sites as needed.

• Experience in an agency, consultancy, or client-facing technical role is a plus.

• Familiarity with UX research or design collaboration workflows is advantageous.

• Exposure to enterprise integration patterns or modernization of legacy systems is beneficial.

• Practical experience in building or deploying agentic systems for clients is a plus.

• A relevant degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
