Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions with partners.

• Design and execute REST API, webhook, and tokenization integrations.

• Develop and manage custom scripts and lightweight services.

• Oversee technical integrations from sandbox environments to production.

• Assist partner development teams with integrations guided by best practices.

• Utilize AI tools for code generation and automation purposes.

• Create standardized AI-enabled delivery playbooks and certifications.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure successful implementation.

• Take ownership of successful partner implementations, focusing on time-to-live, quality, and scalability.

• Produce reusable AI-assisted resources such as MCPs, templates, and scripts.

• Enhance efficiency and foster technical trust with partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in software or solutions engineering.

• Proficient in APIs and integrations.

• Strong skills in Java, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.

• Ability to adapt and work in the partner's preferred language.

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles.

• Interest or background in AI-augmented engineering is a plus.

• Previous experience in payments or fintech is preferred.

• Familiarity with gateways and Payfacs is advantageous.

• Experience with cloud services, especially AWS, is preferred.

• Knowledge of AI developer tools like Kiro, Claude, or Copilot is a plus.

• Must have pre-existing legal authorization to work in Canada.
