Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Define the deployment, validation, and scaling processes of Ent within customer environments.

• Establish processes, metrics, documentation, and training protocols for the FDE team.

• Collaborate across product, customer, and security sectors.

• Work closely with design partners and early adopters.

• Oversee initial deployments for Insider Risk, DLP, SAT, AV/EDR development, Security for AI, and other emerging modules.

• Accelerate time-to-value through hands-on configuration, iteration, and problem-solving techniques.

• Convert customer workflows into sustainable deployment methodologies.

• Serve as the internal customer zero for product and engineering teams.

• Identify gaps in usability, performance, and real-world applicability.

• Propel product improvements and bug fixes through customer feedback.

• Offer actionable insights that influence the roadmap and prioritization.

• Assist in defining the end-user experience.

• Collaborate with research teams to validate detection and prevention strategies.

• Incorporate real-world user behavior and threat patterns into the system.

• Help advance intent-aware models through live environments.

• Transform customized deployments into standardized programs.

• Create playbooks, templates, and frameworks for customers or partners.

• Facilitate long-term ownership by customer teams and service providers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in real-world environments, forward-deployed engineering, CXE, solutions engineering, or related roles in cybersecurity or infrastructure.

• Strong technical background in endpoint, systems, security, or related fields.

• Demonstrated capability to engage directly with customers in ambiguous, high-impact settings.

• Intuitive understanding of product usability, value, and daily adoption.

• A builder mindset with the ability to create structure in undefined spaces.

• Capacity to navigate between technical depth, customer interaction, and strategic planning.

• Experience in transforming early-stage deployments into scalable programs.
