Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with customers to gain insights into their workflows, limitations, and success metrics.

• Transform vaguely defined operational challenges into precise technical strategies and production systems.

• Design and create AI agents that seamlessly integrate with customer tools, data, and business operations.

• Take full ownership of deployments from initial prototypes to launch, including monitoring and ongoing enhancements.

• Conduct tests using real-world data, assess business results, and refine approaches based on empirical evidence.

• Make practical trade-offs concerning architecture, reliability, performance, and user experience.

• Collaborate closely with the DehazeLabs Product and Engineering teams to enhance the core platform.

• Convert insights gained from individual deployments into reusable tools, methodologies, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-1 year of experience in software development or addressing complex technical challenges.

• Strong foundational knowledge in software architecture, system design, and production engineering.

• Experience with APIs, integrations, data flows, and distributed systems.

• Capability to introduce structure and drive progress in ambiguous situations.

• Confidence in engaging directly with customers, ranging from operational teams to technical stakeholders.

• Ability to communicate clearly, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.

• A genuine curiosity regarding applied AI and its potential to revolutionize business operations.

• Nice to have: Experience in a forward-deployed, solutions engineering, consulting, or customer-facing technical role.

• Nice to have: Experience in developing AI agents, automating workflows, or creating conversational systems.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with LLM evaluation, observability, and reliability in production environments.
