Senior Sediment Remediation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute sediment investigation work scopes and plans collaboratively with a team.

• Oversee and coordinate RI/FS and PDI investigation initiatives.

• Create sediment remediation strategies for intricate CERCLA and state equivalent locations.

• Engage with clients and drive business development efforts.

• Work alongside experts in sediment investigation and remediation.

• Contribute to the company's growth and success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a licensed professional engineer with a degree in engineering.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in sediment remediation engineering and related services for large, complex sediment sites (e.g., CERCLA).

• Experience as engineer-of-record on several CERCLA or state equivalent sediment remediation design projects.

• In-depth knowledge of dredge design, cap design, in-situ remediation techniques, and dredged material management.

• Proven experience working across multiple states and with diverse clients.

• A well-established reputation in the industry, including relevant conference presentations and participation in work groups.

• Strong client relationships with the ability to cultivate new business opportunities.

• A collaborative spirit with a desire to lead and support regional or company-wide staff at various levels.

• Evidence of client satisfaction, showcasing excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• A commitment to training, mentoring, and overseeing staff development.

• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
