Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate structured pre-sales discovery sessions involving PMOs, IT, security, and business stakeholders.

• Outline the PMLC, governance checkpoints, and project toolchains.

• Document both the current and desired states.

• Develop pilot scope, integration strategies, data flows, access and compliance documentation, as well as risk and effort matrices.

• Formulate post-sales operationalization plans that encompass environments, access, data onboarding, controls, success metrics, and exit criteria.

• Implement, configure, and validate connectors and data paths in collaboration with customer IT teams.

• Create reusable checklists and operational runbooks.

• Draft runbooks for daily operations, incident management, permissioning, and change management processes.

• Educate project managers, PMO analysts, and sponsors with materials, recordings, quick references, and office hours.

• Monitor adoption through a straightforward scorecard.

• Collaborate with the CEO and product team to convert customer requirements into repeatable capabilities, templates, and integrations.

• Gather field feedback to enhance Harmony’s tone, behaviors, and interaction styles.

• Oversee delivery state across multiple workstreams while ensuring quality and maintaining pace.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role focused on solution discovery and deployment for enterprise software or systems integration.

• Strong technical project management background.

• Proficient with PMLC, RAID, resource and stakeholder communications, as well as benefits tracking.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts.

• Working knowledge of enterprise PM/PPM/SPM tools, including Microsoft Project, Planner, Jira, Smartsheet, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, UMT360, and Fluid.

• Acquainted with tools such as Notion and Miro.

• Excellent communication abilities with a knack for simplifying complex environments.

• Competency in writing discovery notes, runbooks, checklists, and training manuals.

• A builder mindset with a proactive approach and comfort in navigating ambiguity and evolving needs.

• Basic understanding of security and compliance principles.

• Experience in deploying solutions within Fortune 500 environments is preferred.

• Familiarity with OAuth and SSO is preferred.

• Exposure to AI agents or automation in real project workflows is preferred.
