Forward Deploy Engineer

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design of solutions for intricate, cross-departmental data and AI challenges, from the initial discovery phase to the technical blueprint.

• Articulate and convey architectural decisions, trade-offs, and delivery strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Create scalable and modular systems that effectively balance the need for speed with enterprise standards regarding reliability, security, and maintainability.

• Engage in architecture reviews to ensure adherence to enterprise patterns and platform standards.

• Produce clear technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow maps, API contracts, and solution briefs.

• Develop and deliver functional prototypes for complex data and AI issues within tight deadlines, often ranging from days to weeks.

• Convert ambiguous business requirements into specific technical solutions with minimal guidance.

• Balance the speed of delivery with enterprise standards, ensuring your prototypes are production-ready rather than disposable.

• Continuously refine solutions based on direct feedback from product managers, program leads, and end users.

• Create intuitive front-end interfaces and dashboards that effectively present data and AI outputs for business users.

• Design, build, and implement AI agents and multi-agent systems that automate complex workflows from start to finish.

• Develop and manage agent skills — distinct, reusable capabilities that integrate into larger agentic pipelines.

• Implement and enhance Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients to connect AI agents with enterprise tools, APIs, and data sources.

• Design evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and monitoring pipelines to ensure agent reliability and safety in production.

• Stay updated with the rapidly changing agentic AI landscape and proactively introduce new techniques and tools to the team.

• Work closely with product, program, and engineering teams to co-define problems and collaboratively deliver solutions.

• Influence technical direction and foster alignment across teams without relying on formal authority.

• Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders, whether in writing, meetings, or executive presentations.

• Mentor and uplift junior engineers by sharing patterns and practices for agentic development, prompt design, and rapid delivery.

• Cultivate a collaborative, low-ego team culture where speed and quality are equally prioritized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in Software / Infrastructure Development.

• Proven ability to architect end-to-end systems — from requirements gathering to deployment — with clear documentation and effective stakeholder communication.

• Hands-on experience in building AI agents, including defining agent skills, tool usage, memory management, and multi-step reasoning.

• Experience with AI-Augmented Engineering (Harness Engineering) — actively utilizing tools like Claude Code, Codex, or similar assistants to enhance coding, documentation, and daily problem-solving.

• Direct experience with AWS Agent Core or its equivalent — including the building, deployment, and operation of agents in production environments.

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) — including building or utilizing MCP servers to link agents with external systems.

• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.

• Proficient in Python and at least one front-end framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills — able to quickly earn trust, navigate ambiguity, and foster alignment among diverse teams.
