Forward AI Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the client's operational team to pinpoint workflows that are inefficient in terms of time, quality, or cost.

• Revamp decision flows and handoffs utilizing AI, and implement the resulting system into production.

• Convert cross-functional business challenges into actionable technical strategies.

• Rapidly prototype to showcase potential solutions and focus on developing only the components necessary for production.

• Construct agentic systems, RAG pipelines, or tailored data pipelines as dictated by the workflow requirements.

• Facilitate stakeholder alignment throughout the client's organization and proactively address any blockers.

• Work alongside the client's team, clarify decisions, and empower them to manage and enhance the system.

• Develop telemetry, evaluation pipelines, and feedback loops that integrate human reviews.

• Establish reusable production patterns, infrastructure, and governance frameworks for future projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in transitioning AI systems from prototype stage to production within a genuine operational environment, not merely in a laboratory or sandbox setting.

• Robust and up-to-date expertise in LLM/RAG architectures, agentic systems, cloud platforms, and data pipeline construction.

• Proficient in mapping partially undocumented decision-making logic.

• Discernment regarding the appropriate boundaries of automation versus human responsibility.

• Exceptional communication skills and adept stakeholder management capabilities.

• Capability to provide direct counsel to a client and escalate issues independently.
