Forex Country Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement market strategies to enhance DB Investing’s visibility and expand market share within Malaysia.

• Discover new business opportunities, facilitate client acquisition, and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and other key market participants.

• Establish, oversee, and grow a network of Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates, and strategic partners.

• Take ownership of commercial targets, track market performance, and initiate measures to achieve revenue and business growth goals.

• Recruit, lead, and nurture a local sales and business development team.

• Act as a representative for DB Investing at industry events and networking functions.

• Collaborate closely with HQ teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Compliance, to implement local business strategies.

• Ensure that local business development initiatives adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the Forex/CFD sector with a reputable Forex broker.

• Prior experience in a senior business development, sales management, or country management role.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Malaysian Forex market, encompassing its competitive landscape and business environment.

• Well-established network of Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates, and pertinent industry contacts.

• Proven track record in generating revenue, fostering partnerships, and consistently meeting commercial targets.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the skill to build and manage a high-performing team.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

• Proficient in both Malay and English.

• Must currently reside in Malaysia.
