This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conduct and oversee forest inventories and field surveys in compliance with relevant standards.
• Validate, analyze, and organize gathered data.
• Execute digitization/vectorization and geospatial data processing within GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Prepare technical reports, create maps, and conduct analyses that fulfill contractual obligations.
• Work closely with internal teams to guarantee compliance and the quality of deliverables.
• Engage in the planning and organization of project-related tasks.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal processes and methodologies.
• Become part of the TEHORA team, a multidisciplinary company offering professional technical and project management services to both public and private sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in forestry engineering or a related discipline.
• Active, in-good-standing member of the OIFQ (mandatory).
• Proficient with GIS tools (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) in a professional environment.
• Exceptional writing abilities for generating technical documents.
• Demonstrated capacity to work independently in a remote or telework setting.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
