This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Conduct and oversee forest inventories and field surveys in line with current standards
β’ Validate, analyze, and organize the data collected
β’ Execute digitization/vectorization and geospatial data processing within GIS environments (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS)
β’ Prepare technical reports, generate maps, and conduct analyses that adhere to contractual specifications
β’ Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure compliance and quality of deliverables
β’ Engage in the planning and organization of project-related activities
β’ Aid in the ongoing enhancement of internal processes and methodologies
β’ Bachelor's degree in forest engineering or a related discipline
β’ Active, in-good-standing membership with the OIFQ (Order of Forest Engineers of Quebec) (mandatory)
β’ Professional expertise in GIS tools: ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS
β’ Exceptional writing abilities for creating technical documentation
β’ Demonstrated capacity to work independently in a remote environment
β’ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
