This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.
• Execute thorough forensic investigations of structural damages, defects, failures, moisture intrusion assessments, premises liability claims, and roof evaluations.
• Conduct site inspections and collect pertinent data to assist in forensic analysis.
• Utilize engineering principles and methodologies to evaluate and address structural issues.
• Draft clear and concise technical reports that detail findings and conclusions.
• Offer expert testimony in legal proceedings when necessary.
• Remain updated with industry trends, codes, and standards relevant to structural engineering.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Preferred experience in forensic engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Previous experience providing expert testimony in legal proceedings is advantageous.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
