This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Oversee the design and execution of land development projects, which encompass residential, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, and public infrastructure initiatives.
• Create and supervise plans for grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway enhancements.
• Generate technical reports, studies, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and cost evaluations.
• Handle project scope, timelines, budgets, invoicing, and resource distribution to ensure effective project completion.
• Act as the main client liaison and work in coordination with agencies, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Offer technical guidance, conduct QA/QC reviews, and mentor engineering and design personnel.
• Assist with entitlement, permitting, and construction-phase services as required.
• Stay informed about relevant Federal, State, County, and local design standards and regulations.
• Address complex engineering problems, promote project success, and contribute to the advancement of the Land Development practice.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or its equivalent.
• A PE license is mandatory (California PE preferred).
• A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in land development engineering.
• Extensive experience in site development design, including grading, drainage, utility infrastructure, and roadway enhancements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
• Proven project management experience that includes budgeting, scheduling, and client collaboration.
• Strong technical, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Experience in mentoring junior staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to regularly communicate, hear, and operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse, and occasionally lift, pull/push, and carry up to 20 pounds with accommodations.
