Flooring Takeoff Estimator – Administrative Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Generate precise material takeoffs from drawings, plans, specifications, and project documentation.

• Calculate necessary quantities and materials for flooring projects.

• Examine project documents to determine scope, measurements, specifications, and potential challenges.

• Develop estimates and assist with pricing and quotation needs.

• Engage with clients, vendors, and internal team members to clarify project requirements.

• Gather and verify product, material, and pricing details from vendors.

• Detect discrepancies or missing information prior to finalizing estimates.

• Maintain detailed estimating records and documentation.

• Adhere to required deadlines while ensuring a high standard of accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in material takeoffs and estimating.

• Experience in flooring estimating is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail and numerical precision.

• Capability to interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent communication skills with clients and vendors.

• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
