This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee both union and non-union staff engaged in BWR Refuel Floor outage maintenance tasks.
• Drive project delivery planning, transition strategies, risk assessment, risk management, and contingency strategies.
• Mentor and guide diverse, multi-disciplinary teams from GEH and contingent workers, including skilled labor.
• Assist in the development of commercial proposals by providing technical insights on labor needs, hours, tools, and logistics.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior customer and supplier management regarding commercial, execution, technical, and compliance matters.
• Contribute to Product Line activities such as proposal creation, product innovation, growth initiatives, and training development and implementation.
• Offer expertise in reactor maintenance, in-vessel tools, and GEH OEM equipment.
• Advocate for GE Beliefs, integrity, nuclear safety, and a culture of quality.
• Ensure deliverables of high quality that align with customer expectations, business practices, and regulatory standards.
• Implement standard GVH processes across various projects and guarantee adherence to procedures.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field with 5 years of experience in BWR Refuel Floor Outage Maintenance, OR a High School Diploma coupled with at least 10 years of experience in BWR Refuel Floor Outage Maintenance activities.
• Prior experience as a Refuel Floor Technical Director or a similar role supporting Refuel Outage maintenance tasks.
• Willingness and ability to travel over 70% of the time to both domestic and international client locations.
• Readiness to support off-season projects, including Spent Fuel Pool cleanup and Dry Cask storage initiatives.
• Capability and willingness to lead GEH Technical Training sessions.
• Ability and readiness to meet Fitness for Duty and site security requirements for unescorted access to U.S. and International Nuclear Plant Sites.
• Competence to work in radiation-controlled and radioactively contaminated environments.
• Ability to successfully pass a respirator fit test and physical examination.
• Willingness to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week during field project execution.
• Strong capability to manage effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Eligibility to gain access to U.S. export-controlled information, as necessary.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if required.
• Broader nuclear experience, including plant operations and/or maintenance activities.
• Experience with Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) outage maintenance tasks.
• Experience in executing Spent Fuel Pool Cleanup and Dry Cask Storage projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in Commercial Activities / Proposal Development and Cost Estimation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nuclear power plant refueling, maintenance, inspections, and modifications.
• Familiarity with BWR and PWR vessels and components, as well as Nuclear Steam Safety System (NSSS) and Containment Buildings.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, P6, PLM, and Oracle ERP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
