This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the direct supervision of both union and non-union staff engaged in BWR Refuel Floor outage maintenance activities.
β’ Lead project delivery planning, which includes transition strategies, risk identification, risk mitigation, and contingency planning.
β’ Coach and guide multidisciplinary and multicultural teams made up of GEH and contingent personnel, including craft labor.
β’ Contribute technical insights to the development of commercial proposals concerning labor quantity, labor hours, tooling, and logistics.
β’ Build and maintain relationships with senior-level management from customers and suppliers regarding commercial, execution, technical, and compliance matters.
β’ Assist in Product Line initiatives, including proposal formulation, product innovation, growth strategies, and the development and delivery of training programs.
β’ Offer Subject Matter Expertise in reactor maintenance, in-vessel tooling, and GEH OEM equipment.
β’ Uphold integrity, nuclear safety, and a culture of quality.
β’ Provide leadership to ensure that high-quality deliverables meet customer specifications, business procedures, and regulatory standards.
β’ Promote standard GVH processes across projects while ensuring adherence to procedures.
β’ Undertake additional tasks as required by business needs.
β’ A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field with 5 years of experience in BWR Refuel Floor Outage Maintenance, or a High School Diploma accompanied by at least 10 years of relevant experience.
β’ Prior experience as a Refuel Floor Technical Director or a similar role supporting Refuel Outage maintenance activities.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel over 70% of the time to domestic and international customer locations.
β’ Readiness to assist with off-season projects, such as Spent Fuel Pool cleanup and Dry Cask storage initiatives.
β’ Capability and willingness to instruct GEH Technical Training courses.
β’ Ability to meet Fitness for Duty requirements and site security standards to gain and retain unescorted access at U.S. and international nuclear facilities.
β’ Comfort working in radiation-controlled and radioactively contaminated environments.
β’ Ability to pass a respirator fit test and physical examination.
β’ Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week during field project execution.
β’ Proficiency in managing effectively under high-stress conditions.
β’ Broader nuclear experience encompassing plant operations and/or maintenance tasks.
β’ Familiarity with Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) outage maintenance operations.
β’ Experience in executing Spent Fuel Pool Cleanup and Dry Cask Storage projects.
β’ Strong computer skills with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, P6, PLM, and Oracle ERP.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
β’ Keen attention to detail and a sense of ownership regarding outputs.
