This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Oversee, organize, and manage Slate's fleet of company-owned PR, marketing, and influencer vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, functional, presentable, well-maintained, and have up-to-date service records.
• Arrange for repairs, detailing, recalls, and software upgrades.
• Schedule loans of vehicles for media and influencers, including pickups and drop-offs.
• Facilitate vehicle placement with press and content creators via fleet vendors.
• Coordinate vehicle availability with editorial, campaign, event, photo/video shoots, and media-drive schedules.
• Organize vehicle pickups, deliveries, and transportation across various markets.
• Manage relationships with dealerships, service centers, detailing vendors, fleet management providers, and logistics suppliers.
• Create preventive maintenance schedules and onboard new vendors as needed.
• Take ownership of the fleet budget, monitor expenditures, minimize cost per vehicle, and collaborate with Finance for forecasting.
• Maintain documentation related to registration, titling, insurance, safety, DOT regulations, condition, mileage, and chain-of-custody.
• Collaborate with Marketing, PR, and Experiential teams.
• Provide stakeholders with timely and accurate vehicle information and availability.
• Implement improvements in processes and scalable fleet systems.
• Carry out additional duties and special projects as required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in managing a vehicle fleet.
• Experience with fleet management service providers and media/influencer vehicle loan programs.
• Proficient in Smartsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, and fleet management software.
• Familiarity with vendor and budget management tools.
• Comfortable using scheduling and logistics platforms.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and make effective decisions under time constraints.
• Experience in automotive PR, brand ambassador programs, or experiential marketing is preferred.
• Knowledge of or interest in the automotive and electric vehicle sectors is preferred.
• Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing departmental budgets is preferred.
