First Responder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), or Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP).

• Deliver EMS services across various locations in Alberta.

• Engage in core-flex, 12-hour, and Inter-Facility Transfer (IFT) shifts.

• Uphold priorities related to quality, patient safety, and employee safety.

• Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a valid EMR, PCP, or ACP practice permit that complies with the EMS practice standards in Alberta.

• Hold a current and valid Alberta Class 4 driver’s licence.

• Successfully complete the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test within six months prior to the start date, or provide proof of current full-time experience that meets the relevant criteria.

• Maintain up-to-date mandatory and required training for the position, including MCP and PDIC where necessary.

• Demonstrate a commitment to quality, patient safety, employee safety, and continuous improvement.
