First Party Injury Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver claims services through various channels to policyholders and third-party clients.

• Investigate and resolve medical billing issues related to first-party injuries.

• Utilize knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products, policy agreements, coverage options, and claims-handling protocols.

• Implement General Motors Insurance claims-handling processes and procedures.

• Collaborate with and/or direct vendors as well as internal business partners to facilitate claims resolutions.

• Support organizational objectives while providing exceptional customer service.

• Contribute towards achieving business goals and performance metrics.

• Proficiently use technology, claims management tools, and various communication channels.

• Experience in a phone-centric, inbound contact center environment while using a headset.

• Knowledge of fostering lasting relationships with both internal and external clients and business partners.

• Proficient in a Windows operational environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capable of implementing and adjusting to rapid changes.

• Creative, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset.

• Ability to navigate and operate in multiple systems simultaneously.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance daily operations.

• Skills in assessing AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.

• Experience in integrating AI into workflows to boost efficiency or insights.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content creation.

• Understanding of responsible AI utilization, including ethics and data protection.

• Minimum of 2 years of auto claims adjusting experience is required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Insurance Adjuster License is required.

• Current experience in TX, IL, GA, OH, AZ, IN, or CA is strongly preferred.

• At least 2 years of customer service experience is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.

• Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.
