First Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assist the Pilot-in-Command in the preparation for and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft.

• Execute safe and efficient domestic flight operations in accordance with Part 135 regulations.

• Uphold a high standard of customer service.

• Comply with all company procedures and manuals.

• Maintain a valid first-class medical certificate and inform the company of any medical condition that may affect flight duties.

• Exhibit professionalism while coordinating and leading the crew.

• Welcome passengers and assist with seating and luggage storage.

• Conduct passenger briefings and address passenger requests and needs.

• Undertake other duties as assigned.

• Travel 100% during rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Familiarity with all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135.

• Comprehensive knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.

• Excellent organizational skills and advanced multitasking capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in using word processing, email, web-based, and/or mobile device applications.

• Detail-oriented with a passion for teamwork.

• Well-groomed appearance in line with company standards.

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English.

• ATP certification completed.

• FAA First Class Medical certification.

• Minimum of 2,000 hours of total fixed-wing flight time.

• At least 200 hours of multi-engine flight time.

• Valid passport required.

• Capability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.

• Appropriate type rating is necessary.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide two forms of Federal Identification.

• Successful completion of a thorough background check prior to employment.

• Subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with FAA guidelines.

• Ability to see and hear clearly.

• Physical capability to climb, twist, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, maneuver in tight spaces, and sit/stand/walk for extended durations.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

• Regularly able to push/pull up to 70 pounds and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
