This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute all instructional activities in alignment with the university's instructional standards.

• Deliver lessons based on the approved curriculum in a timely manner.

• Offer prompt feedback on assignments and respond to student inquiries.

• Keep accurate records of student grades and attendance.

• Notify HSOG of your availability to teach courses for each subterm using the designated methods of the school.

• Ensure that personnel and professional information is current in the university’s databases.

• Perform self-assessments as part of the professional evaluation process.

• Monitor the HSOG Communication Center and the designated channel of your Instructional Mentor.

• Complete training on FERPA, Title IX, and any other required training punctually.

• Assist Subject Matter Experts and Program Directors with curriculum development and participate in assessment activities as required.

• Exemplify a strong commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University and engage in personal spiritual growth through a biblically informed Christian perspective.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD, Doctorate (excluding Juris Doctor), or an equivalent terminal degree from an institution accredited by a recognized accrediting agency under the U.S. Department of Education in fields such as Public Administration, Public Policy, Emergency Management, specialized doctorates like Doctor of Fire Integrated Research, or other related areas.

• A record of publications in the relevant field.

• Proven strengths in teaching and mentoring at the graduate level.

• Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills.

• Organizational abilities that support the timely and accurate completion of assignments and tasks.

• Proficient in verbal and written communication.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite and online Learning Management Systems.
