Fire Alarm Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide service, maintenance, and technical support for fire alarm systems.

• Carry out servicing and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on client fire alarm systems.

• Maintain and service both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.

• Offer assistance in other areas and be prepared for occasional overnight stays when necessary.

• Engage in a call-out rota, currently set at 1 in every 8 days.

• Work a total of 36.5 hours weekly, from Monday to Thursday 8:45–16:40 and Friday 8:45–16:00.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven and substantial experience in the maintenance of fire alarm systems accumulated over several years (essential).

• Knowledge of and compliance with BS5839 standards (essential).

• FIA or equivalent training is highly desirable.

• Possess a full UK Driving Licence (essential).

• Demonstrate a professional service with careful attention to detail, quality, and customer service (essential).

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while also thriving as part of a team (essential).

• Excellent communication abilities with customers, clients, and internal staff (essential).

• Reliability and punctuality are critical.

• May need to undergo a DBS check.
