Financial Systems Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and provide support for Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud.

• Manage, support, and implement the Oracle Financials modules within ERP Cloud.

• Assist users during daily operations, month-end closing, and year-end procedures.

• Research and evaluate business processes to identify opportunities for enhancement.

• Ensure SOX compliance by documenting changes in systems and permissions.

• Aid accounting team members in documenting and refining existing workflows.

• Monitor new system releases for possible improvements.

• Conduct user training on system functionalities and processes.

• Diagnose system issues and deliver prompt solutions.

• Execute data cleansing to enhance reporting and processes.

• Apply innovative solutions to complex challenges.

• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, and other business teams as part of the Enterprise Applications team.

• Provide support for acquisitions and divestitures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong accounting background; CPA designation preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in supporting Oracle systems.

• At least 50% of Oracle experience should be in supporting Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud.

• Familiarity with system financial audits and controls.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to engage comfortably with finance and accounting users at all levels.

• Extensive knowledge of GL, GIS, AP, and Cash Management modules.

• Preferred knowledge of the Procurement module.

• Understanding of Order to Cash processes is an advantage.

• Experience in supporting acquisitions and divestitures is beneficial.

• Basic understanding of role structures.

• Familiarity with OTBI and fundamental Oracle table structures.

• Experience in writing documentation and conducting training sessions.

• Capability to design, propose, and document innovative solutions.

• Experience working in end-user environments to facilitate daily operations and close activities.

• Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt swiftly to changing environments.

• Experience in a Global, Multi-Entity, Multi-Currency setting.
