Systems Analyst Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +26 more states.

📋 Description

• Acquire skills to function as a Systems Business Analyst within the business department under general supervision.

• Assist with analytical and administrative tasks related to commercial loan system operations and department reporting.

• Manage the commercial loan system.

• Generate reports on deposit and lending activities.

• Handle large datasets across multiple systems and translate them into actionable insights.

• Frequently collaborate with other departments within the credit union.

• Engage in the Spring 2027 internship starting on January 26 or 27, 2027.

• Attend new hire orientation on January 29, 2027.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Business, Information Technology, Economics, Accounting, or Finance at the University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina.

• Successful completion of an analytics or systems analyst course is mandatory.

• Previous experience with system administration and/or reporting systems such as Microsoft Power BI, SAP Business Objects, or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio is highly desirable.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude.

• Strong communication skills, professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently.

• Capable of sitting for extended periods.

• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and typing in English.

• Ability to hear and use a telephone.

• Willingness to collaborate on camera via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx.

• Must reside in one of the eligible U.S. states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.

• Must not hold F-1 or J-1 status; employer will not sponsor work visas.

• Schedule cannot exceed 29 hours per week.
