Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Provide technical support to the sales team concerning pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales activities.

• Assist in evaluating sales leads from a technical perspective.

• Execute pre-sales tasks for solution offerings, which include proposals, demonstrations, and presentations.

• Oversee the technical components of sales cycles, from initial RFIs through RFPs and RFQs when necessary.

• Contribute to the development of tender documents, proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations.

• Act as the primary technical resource during sales calls, educating customers about features, specifications, functionality, and integration.

• Analyze customer requirements, environments, and challenges.

• Recommend and deliver security solution designs and implementation strategies to clients.

• Serve as the lead technical point of contact for designated accounts regarding post-sales technical concerns.

• Collaborate with technical support and engineering teams to address, escalate, and resolve customer technical issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in field sales.

• Background in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.

• Knowledge of administering LAN/WAN/Internet services.

• Proficiency in managing mid- and large-enterprise accounts.

• Experience with lab setup and proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.

• Strong understanding of security solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba, and Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with SaaS solutions, orchestration, or multi-vendor integrated deployment.

• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, and the Cyber Kill Chain.

• Outstanding skills in networking and security solutions, encompassing Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewall, SD-WAN, Sandboxing, UEBA, application security, SASE, ZTNA, and EDR.

• Solid knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPsec, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.

• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• Bachelor's Degree.
