Financial Systems Analyst – JAMIS, Acumatica

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop, modify, and sustain financial and operational reports using JAMIS Prime and Acumatica.

• Utilize Jamis reporting modules, Acumatica Report Designer, Generic Inquiries, Dashboards, and SQL-based reporting techniques.

• Convert business requirements into effective, user-friendly reporting solutions.

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles.

• Generate reports on revenue, project accounting, labor, indirect rates, and compliance-related data.

• Collaborate with teams across Accounting, Project Control, Contracts, HR, and IT.

• Ensure reporting outputs align with government contracting requirements and DCAA audit standards.

• Create automated reporting workflows to minimize manual processes and enhance data reliability.

• Address report performance issues and preserve data integrity across integrated systems.

• Engage in JAMIS and Acumatica system enhancements, configuration updates, and testing activities.

• Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to internal stakeholders.

• Comply with standard working hours, meet deadlines, adhere to company policies, communicate with the assigned supervisor, and maintain focus on assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in building reports within JAMIS Prime and/or JAMIS legacy platforms.

• More than 2 years of practical experience with Acumatica.

• Strong expertise in Acumatica Report Designer and Generic Inquiries.

• Comprehensive understanding of government contracting accounting and indirect rate structures.

• Proficient in analyzing complex financial data and converting it into precise, actionable reporting.

• Experience in supporting DCAA-compliant environments.

• Outstanding documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with JAMIS Prime migrations or Acumatica customizations is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/analytics tools is preferred.

• Previous experience supporting mid-sized to large government contractors is desirable.

• Experience working with military and/or government entities is advantageous.

• If applicable, a post-employment ethics letter is required for recently employed U.S. government personnel if a job offer is extended.
