This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Review compliance-related deliverables for precision, thoroughness, and professionalism.
• Evaluate financial services regulatory analyses, response documents, and accompanying materials.
• Detect unsupported conclusions, compliance deficiencies, inconsistencies, omissions, flawed assumptions, and overlooked risks.
• Examine recommendations for regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and practical applicability.
• Assess compliance reports, regulatory filings, internal evaluations, spreadsheets, reports, and presentation materials.
• Analyze calculations, assumptions, metrics, supporting data, charts, tables, and visual aids.
• Determine whether findings and suggestions are adequately backed by existing evidence.
• Differentiate significant compliance issues from minor editorial matters.
• Deliver clear, organized written feedback detailing identified strengths and weaknesses.
• Consistently apply evaluation criteria across financial services compliance deliverables.
• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial services compliance, regulatory affairs, compliance analysis, risk management, or a closely related area.
• Background as a Compliance Officer, Financial Compliance Analyst, Regulatory Affairs Specialist, Risk Analyst, or a similar role.
• Strong practical knowledge of financial services compliance and regulatory responses.
• Experience in developing or reviewing compliance analyses, regulatory documentation, risk assessments, reports, or related deliverables.
• Capacity to evaluate regulatory conclusions for accuracy, evidentiary support, and practical viability.
• Exceptional analytical judgment and meticulous attention to compliance and regulatory details.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Advanced expertise in PowerPoint / Google Slides.
• Strong capabilities in spreadsheets and analytical tasks.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Outstanding written communication skills with the ability to provide precise, structured feedback.
• A Master’s degree or higher from a recognized institution is a plus.
• Work must be conducted without utilizing confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this position.
• Part-time independent contractor engagement.
• Fully remote work environment.
