Financial Security Advisor, Life and Health Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Engage in serving, prospecting, soliciting, and cultivating business relationships with members and clients.

• Market life and health insurance products and services through various distribution channels tailored to member/client needs and current strategies.

• Promote and advocate for financial security products and services.

• Assess member/client needs and propose customized solutions.

• Balance sales goals with prudent risk management, profitability, and member/client satisfaction.

• Build and sustain personal business relationships with clients who have complex and diverse needs.

• Provide guidance and support to current and prospective members and clients.

• Represent Desjardins and enter into agreements with clients on behalf of the organization.

• Negotiate product and service terms in alignment with established standards and procedures.

• Offer advice and sell life, health, disability, and critical illness insurance products.

• Evaluate customer satisfaction and service quality, following up and implementing improvements as necessary.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with referral sources.

• Assist in identifying and analyzing potential member/client files.

• Seize business opportunities and present information to partners to help members and clients achieve their financial aspirations.

• Keep abreast of industry developments to identify business growth opportunities and stay informed about new products and trends.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• At least one year of pertinent experience.

• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be evaluated.

• Representative's certificate in Insurance of persons from Autorité des marchés financiers.

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.
