Financial Reporting Accounting Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, along with related footnotes and supporting documentation.

• Assist in the review of XBRL tagging for 10-Q and 10-K filings.

• Draft Management Discussion and Analysis reports for both quarterly and annual periods, including supporting documentation and quarterly fluctuation analysis.

• Manage the financial reporting calendar and collaborate with finance, tax, corporate accounting, investor relations, and legal departments to ensure timely completion of financial reporting deadlines.

• Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.

• Conduct preliminary research on new accounting pronouncements and disclosure requirements.

• Maintain internal control documentation for financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• 1-2 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting.

• Familiarity with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial statement presentation.

• Highly reliable, organized, and detail-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

• CPA candidate is preferred.
