• Generate daily channel P&L, weekly sales reports, and monthly P&L analysis, including an executive summary, KPI scorecard, and product/range performance reports.
• Conduct pricing assessments, margin validation, aged stock markdown analysis, channel contribution evaluations, and assessments of third-party logistics costs.
• Update and validate landed costs on a monthly basis and resolve known cost discrepancies.

• Report directly to the CEO and collaborate with the external bookkeeping firm as well as Australian tax advisors.
• CPA or CA qualified, with experience at the manager or assistant manager level in a Big 4 audit or advisory firm, or equivalent industry depth.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency reporting, including consolidating entities with varying start dates and establishing a defensible approach to FX management.
• Strong close discipline involving calendars, working papers, reconciliations, variance tolerance, and maintaining standards for external bookkeepers.
• Knowledge of indirect tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including coordination with external firms and understanding of controls over outsourced filings.
• Comfortable with hands-on responsibilities before delegating; will build and manage the function in the first year.

• Located in the Philippines.
• Must be able to work as an independent contractor.
• Daily availability that overlaps with the Australian morning hours.
• Experience in e-commerce or consumer goods, familiarity with Power BI or similar modeling tools, exposure to inventory-heavy businesses and landed-cost analysis, and knowledge of Australian tax are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Competitive compensation based on experience, billed monthly in US dollars.
• An annual bonus structure aligned with the rest of our remote team.
• Fully remote position, offering flexibility in daily availability rather than fixed office hours.
• A formal performance review at six months to discuss performance, potential transition to a permanent role, and possible expansion of responsibilities.
• A clear progression path beyond the first year — the opportunity to advance to Head of Finance with a supporting team or focus on transaction readiness; your input will be valued in this decision.
• Direct reporting line to the CEO.
• Work checked by an external bookkeeping firm at each closing and audited annually by Australian tax advisors.
