This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the comprehensive finance operations across international entities, including operations in New Zealand and the USA.
• Supervise accounting functions such as general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and performance evaluations.
• Handle multi-currency transactions, intercompany accounting, and foreign exchange exposure.
• Create financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow analyses.
• Track working capital, profit margins, profitability, and financial risks.
• Collaborate with Directors and operational teams to deliver commercial insights and support decision-making.
• Partner with external accountants to ensure precise reporting and adherence to compliance standards.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and commercial data.
• Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller or in a comparable senior finance position.
• Familiarity with accounting practices in New Zealand, the USA, Singapore, or other international contexts is highly advantageous.
• CA, CPA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification is preferred.
• Experience in international trade, import/export, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, international services, or rapidly expanding SME businesses is preferred.
• Proficiency in multi-entity and multi-currency accounting, including intercompany transactions and foreign exchange exposure.
• Strong hands-on experience in managing full-cycle accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• In-depth understanding of financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Expertise in Xero accounting software and financial systems.
• Exceptional analytical, commercial, and problem-solving abilities with a capacity to work independently.
• High level of trustworthiness and discretion, with strong integrity and the capability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Confidence in providing recommendations to business leaders.
• Work-from-home flexibility.
