Financial Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial activities of designated foreign subsidiaries.

• Maintain regular communication with local finance personnel and external accounting firms.

• Offer financial assistance and strategic advice to business managers.

• Supervise subsidiary financial functions, including financial data management, operational reporting, and processing systems.

• Manage accounts receivable and assess credit risk.

• Monitor and project cash flow while managing payment processes.

• Prepare financial information for consolidation in reporting and management.

• Aid in the development and execution of procedures and systems that enhance financial and accounting operations within the Capital Group.

• Create financial analyses, reports, and forecasts.

• Collaborate with the central finance team, various business departments, profit center leaders, and the Board of Directors.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a small team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or auditing.

• Expertise in accounting and corporate finance.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, especially in spreadsheet applications.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting standards.

• Proficient in English.

• Familiarity with IFRS is required.

• Knowledge of tax regulations is preferred.

• Exceptional analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.

• A proactive mindset, attention to detail, meticulousness, and logical reasoning are highly desired.
