This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes for all entities, ensuring that reporting is consistent, accurate, and timely.

• Supervise accounts receivable/accounts payable and contractor reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and documentation for transfer pricing.

• Manage statutory financial statements and facilitate local audits and tax filings in collaboration with in-country accountants and advisors.

• Develop and uphold robust internal controls that align with local GAAP/IFRS standards.

• Ensure that each entity remains compliant with its tax, filing, and licensing requirements.

• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax consultants, and local accounting firms across various jurisdictions.

• Propel the standardization and automation of financial processes to minimize manual closing tasks.

• Provide financial due diligence and integration assistance for the establishment or acquisition of new entities.

• Aggregate financial data across different currencies and jurisdictions into a cohesive, group-level perspective.

• Supervise cash flow and treasury management across entities, including intercompany financing and foreign exchange exposure.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at both entity and consolidated levels.

• Guide and mentor a growing team of accountants and finance analysts.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in accounting or finance, with at least 2–3 years in a role focused on multi-entity or multi-country consolidation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA or ACCA certification is required.

• Significant experience in closing books across various jurisdictions and currencies.

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP; familiarity with local GAAP differences is an advantage.

• Experience in intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and financial consolidation.

• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and consolidation tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining the ability to function at a strategic level.

• Strong communication abilities for collaboration with cross-functional teams and external advisors across different time zones.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).

• Experience in Employer of Record (EOR), Professional Employer Organization (PEO), HR technology, or global payroll sectors is highly desirable.

• Previous experience as an Assistant Audit Manager or Senior Auditor (preferably within a Big 4 firm or similar) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with global payroll compliance and employment cost structures.

• Background in a rapidly growing, remote-first company is preferred.
