This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct financial data analyses and create financial models to enhance operational and business decision-making.
• Execute variance analyses to pinpoint financial trends, risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers.
• Compare actual financial outcomes against budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.
• Analyze datasets related to operations, technology, and customers to generate reports and actionable insights.
• Identify trends and deliver recommendations based on quantitative assessments.
• Gather, organize, validate, and interpret extensive datasets from various sources.
• Write, edit, and interpret SQL queries to facilitate reporting and data analysis.
• Leverage laboratory systems, data marts, and other reporting tools to extract and analyze data.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders.
• Research and assess complex projects that encompass financial, operational, and technical aspects.
• Evaluate process methodologies and their financial implications to support business initiatives.
• Suggest and assist in the implementation of new protocols, methodologies, and processes.
• Aid leadership in executing strategic initiatives and stakeholder implementation plans.
• Prepare and present analytical findings, financial results, and recommendations to business users and leaders.
• Convert analytical findings into business impacts concerning pricing, volume, revenue, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with leaders across the organization to assess performance, recognize trends, develop financial models, and support strategic initiatives.
• Associate degree in Finance.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, revenue cycle management, accounting, finance, healthcare analytics, or data analytics.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, revenue cycle management, accounting, finance, healthcare analytics, or data analytics.
• Ability to communicate complex financial and analytical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills when addressing financial and operational challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with leadership, finance, operations, information technology, and other stakeholders.
• Work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
• Employ organizational and time-management skills to handle competing priorities.
