Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Maintain and revise monthly financial models, rolling forecasts, and annual budgeting templates.

• Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial closing processes by performing budget-versus-actual variance analyses.

• Highlight significant operational trends.

• Prepare and disseminate regular financial reporting packages and operational dashboards for leadership and department heads.

• Collaborate with the Accounting department on expense monitoring and with HR for headcount updates in relation to the budget.

• Collect and refine data for provider capacity planning, clinical visit volume trends, and analyses of operational efficiency.

• Aid in testing, implementing, and maintaining FP&A software and business intelligence reporting tools.

• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data across financial systems and reporting outputs.

• Facilitate financial planning, reporting, and operational analysis for Midi Health's virtual healthcare platform.

• Report directly to the Director of Finance and work closely with corporate finance and clinical operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting (strong internship experience is acceptable).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic financial modeling.

• Basic understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and fundamental accounting concepts.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly summarize financial data.

• Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without any current or future sponsorship requirements.
