Financial Analyst 1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Work in collaboration with Sales and Proposal teams to prepare and review pricing for RFP submissions.

• Liaise with Sales and technology vendors to maintain and refresh pricing catalogs and price books.

• Update CRM systems and pricing tools with contract details and pricing information.

• Provide financial analysis and reporting assistance for Sales and Program Managers.

• Conduct analytical studies, track business trends, and interpret data to facilitate decision-making.

• Generate, quality-check, and distribute monthly and quarterly sales reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Carry out ad hoc financial analyses to support Sales and Program Management initiatives.

• Assist in contract compliance activities and track program finances.

• Analyze extensive data sets to identify opportunities for process enhancement and operational efficiency.

• Aid in the ongoing management of technology vendor pricing and contract information.

• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Analytics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be taken into account.

• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience is required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to perform well under pressure and adjust to shifting priorities.

• Preference for candidates with experience in financial analysis, accounting, pricing, reporting, data analytics, or business operations.

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis techniques, are preferred.

• Experience with large data sets, databases, CRM platforms, or reporting tools is preferred.

• Familiarity with contract management, pricing, government contracting, or compliance-related processes is preferred.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams is preferred.

• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and a continuous learning mindset is preferred.
