Financial Aid Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate eligibility and accurately allocate aid in accordance with established guidelines for grants, loans, tuition assistance, military resources, and various funding sources.

• Review and approve documentation pertaining to Title IV Verification, C Code, and other relevant requirements.

• Calculate and arrange for excess funds to be returned to a student, lender, or other entity.

• Conduct evaluations for drops, including calculations for Return to Title IV for students who stop attending.

• Handle complex financial aid matters and address potential issues as they arise.

• Review and modify accounts as necessary.

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

• Uphold minimum job performance standards, focusing on quality, productivity, and cohort management.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to remain adaptable.

• Maintain focus when performing repetitive tasks.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with CampusNexus software is preferred.

• Knowledge of Title IV policy is preferred.

• Familiarity with state and federal funding programs is preferred.

• Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM ET.

• Start date: January 11, 2027.
