This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of configuration, user access, master data, integrations, and the overall operational health of Acumatica, Ramp, Adaptive Insights, Vertex, and other finance-related technologies.
• Monitor and resolve synchronization errors, data discrepancies, and workflow issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including system documentation, change logs, integration/configuration/workflow details, and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate system upgrades and the rollout of new features.
• Provide expert-level assistance to Finance and Operations personnel and address underlying issues.
• Assess Finance and cross-functional processes to minimize manual effort and reduce the risk of errors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate current methodologies, create alternatives, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Develop business justifications and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement automation and workflow solutions in collaboration with technical or functional partners.
• Ensure systems are aligned with audit readiness, internal controls, and data governance requirements.
• Assist with annual audits and any ad-hoc reviews.
• Work alongside Finance leadership on controls related to expense management, accounts payable/receivable, and tax compliance.
• Create business cases that outline value, resources, implementation strategies, and success metrics.
• Lead finance systems projects from problem identification through to implementation and adoption.
• Engage with stakeholders, exercise discretion regarding escalation, and communicate project status, risks, and trade-offs to Finance leadership.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ERP, spend management, bill payment, and financial planning systems in an operational or ownership role.
• Direct experience with at least two of the following: Acumatica, Ramp, Adaptive Insights, Vertex, or similar platforms.
• Salesforce experience is advantageous.
• Proven history of initiating and completing process enhancements.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead organizational change without direct authority.
• Demonstrated capability to constructively challenge stakeholders and advocate for improved methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; capable of building a case, presenting trade-offs, and influencing decisions at various levels.
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with API integrations, workflow automation, or low-code tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, or native ERP automation.
• A background in accounting or finance adequate to comprehend how system configurations impact financial reporting.
• Experience in supporting systems implementation or migration projects within a Finance context.
• Must be eligible to work and reside in the continental United States.
