Finance System Initiatives Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee global e-invoicing and digital compliance initiatives across various countries, legal entities, and ERP systems.

• Track regulatory changes, evaluate their impact on business and systems, and ensure timely implementation of necessary modifications.

• Identify and communicate regulatory compliance risks, supporting their resolution.

• Manage localization projects to meet local statutory, reporting, and invoicing demands.

• Facilitate the deployment of new legal entities and company codes, ensuring functional requirements, configuration readiness, and cross-functional validation are met.

• Evaluate the impact of organizational changes, acquisitions, divestitures, and legal entity restructuring on ERP and compliance.

• Take ownership of functional requirements and design choices for ERP configurations.

• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and Digital Technology teams to document, configure, validate, and sustain compliant ERP solutions.

• Conduct compliance validations focusing on transaction accuracy, statutory alignment, reporting support, and control effectiveness.

• Organize System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.

• Develop end-to-end test scenarios, ensuring business requirement coverage, and encourage business involvement.

• Manage defect resolution, retesting, implementation readiness, and stabilization post-deployment.

• Direct ERP governance activities, including the evaluation, prioritization, and coordination of Requests for Change.

• Oversee cross-functional project plans, dependencies, risks, decisions, and stakeholder communications.

• Ensure that initiatives conform to enterprise ERP standards, finance controls, and regulatory obligations.

• Act as the finance functional liaison among Finance, Compliance, Controllership, Digital Technology, Master Data Management, and business operations.

• Collaborate with external advisors and solution providers.

• Convert regulatory and business requirements into actionable items, design directives, validation criteria, and implementation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading or supporting global ERP finance, e-invoicing, regulatory compliance, country localization, or finance transformation projects.

• In-depth knowledge of ERP finance processes, system configuration, statutory compliance, and multinational regulatory standards.

• Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, external advisors, and teams across different regions.

• Excellent analytical, project coordination, communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
