Finance Specialist, Shared Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the department's business operations.

• Execute daily departmental responsibilities and review daily tasks for accuracy.

• Address discrepancies and escalate them to management.

• Foster, develop, and sustain communication and relationships with internal stakeholders, including business units, operations, and property CFOs.

• Recognize customer needs and consistently fulfill them.

• Engage in the development, design, and assessment of assigned projects.

• Ensure that analytical and control functions are effectively managed within the department.

• Contribute to the evaluation, development, and enhancement of customer service quality and efficiency across the Finance Shared Services Center.

• Participate in LEAN training and offer ongoing improvement suggestions.

• Support corporate strategies and business objectives.

• Follow department policies and procedures to facilitate successful internal and external audits.

• Identify and convey opportunities for continuous improvement and innovative ideas.

• Exhibit proficiency in the systems related to job responsibilities.

• Collaborate in a cross-functional team environment to implement and uphold business solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe software, including spreadsheet creation, formula usage, and formatting — Preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management — Preferred.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a shared services setting and/or process improvement — Preferred.

• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays — Preferred.

• Bilingual capabilities, with English as either the primary or secondary language — Preferred.

• Experience in a similar resort environment — Preferred.

• Gaming registration/work permit/licensure in all relevant jurisdictions as required — Preferred.
