Finance SME – Accounts Payable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute all business processes necessary for developing the product release plan and its subsequent expansion.

• Promote the adoption of agile methodologies and foster continuous improvement.

• Handle daily invoice entry and processing while adhering to agreed timelines and accuracy standards.

• Conduct quality audits and oversee the management of the general mailbox.

• Generate system-driven reports for the business line and process backup reports after data entry.

• Prepare and evaluate functional process documentation.

• Capture exceptions that occur during processing.

• Document received information and paperwork.

• Identify and address queries, data gaps, and missing information.

• Monitor user acceptance and assist in investigations to resolve issues.

• Ensure productivity and efficiency align with business requirements.

• Establish strong client relationships and address any concerns effectively.

• Achieve or surpass client-specific KPIs.

• Contribute to the development of best practices.

• Mentor and provide training and support to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in an Accounts Payable role.

• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.

• Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to embrace change.

• Capacity to manage daily stress and regulate emotions for oneself and others.

• Persistence in efforts, along with care and attention to detail in tasks.

• A degree in Commerce or Finance, complemented by relevant work experience in Accounts Payable.

• At least 5–6 years of industry experience in a corporate setting, third-party service provider, or as a consultant.

• Preferred knowledge of accounting principles.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Awareness of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PTP) cycle is advantageous.
