Finance Segment Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial analysis, strategic planning, and data mining initiatives for designated business segments

• Assist FP&A Finance/Segments and collaborate with various departments

• Manage financial responsibilities for designated accounts/product lines, which includes monthly closing, P&L assessments, cost and revenue accruals, revenue reconciliations, and journal entries

• Aggregate, prepare, and analyze financial information to uncover cause-and-effect relationships and business drivers

• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales to comprehend financial outcomes and relay insights to senior management

• Deliver closing results, operational data, and forecasts to executive leadership

• Lead various projects across one or more locations

• Mentor, review, and delegate tasks to junior professionals

• Conduct regular operational audits to ensure that suitable controls are established and functioning effectively

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance Experience, Required

• Minimum of 6 years in Accounting/Finance or a related field, Required

• Comprehensive understanding of financial concepts and principles, including operating margin, EBT, cash flow, balance sheet, cost of capital, depreciation, and ROE

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

• Detail-oriented with outstanding follow-up practices

• Capable of generating innovative solutions with minimal guidance

• Proficient in multitasking and effectively managing time

• Skilled in presenting information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities

• Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels

• Proficient in influencing both internal and/or external stakeholders

• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Adaptable to operate in a fast-paced environment

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
