This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately and promptly prepare indirect tax filings.

• Collaborate with the company's filing agent to ensure that state reports are submitted accurately and on time.

• Oversee the member reimbursement process, which involves processing physical checks.

• Conduct month-end reconciliations of the outstanding check list.

• Administer the company’s escheatment process.

• Reconcile daily cash transactions.

• Create thorough month-end cash account reconciliations.

• Manage corporate credit card activities by accurately coding and recording expenses.

• Execute month-end reconciliations for corporate credit cards.

• Act as an operational owner within daily accounting functions, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 1–3 years of practical experience in corporate or operational accounting.

• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles (US GAAP) and general ledger management.

• Expertise in cash reconciliations, expense processing, and multi-state/corporate compliance responsibilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and precision.

• Capacity to work autonomously, prioritize competing tasks, and meet essential monthly deadlines in a dynamic setting.

• Outstanding communication abilities and effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendor partners.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including skills in VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

• Familiarity with or the ability to swiftly adapt to modern accounting systems such as Sage Intacct.
