Finance Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine the RoadieXD billing data for accuracy and completeness, probing into discrepancies between operational data, billing files, and financial outcomes.

• Aid in the month-end closing process, which includes preparing accrual support, performing account reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis.

• Monitor vendor invoices and expenses associated with RoadieXD operations to guarantee costs are correctly recorded and accrued.

• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Operations to address missing invoices, coding problems, and delays in approvals.

• Maintain financial trackers utilized for reconciling vendor expenses with the general ledger and identifying any missing or incorrect charges.

• Assist in the monthly forecasting and annual planning for RoadieXD, covering volume, revenue, cost, and margin assumptions.

• Evaluate operating metrics including revenue per package, cost per package, driver expenses, warehouse labor, linehaul, and gross margin.

• Support vendor contract and rate-card analysis, which includes monitoring contractual rebates and forecasting rebate thresholds.

• Manage and sustain contracts within Tropic.

• Provide assistance with ad hoc financial analyses and projects that support leadership decisions as cross-dock operations expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

• Strong expertise in financial systems and reporting tools, such as Oracle Cloud, AWS QuickSight, and SQL/Redash.

• A strong enthusiasm for data-driven decision-making, with the capability to convert complex datasets into actionable insights.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business units.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple demands, work independently, investigate discrepancies, and successfully drive projects to completion.

• Advanced Excel and analytical skills, including the ability to manage large datasets and reconcile information across various systems.
